Stefan Lorenzen has been working as an independent architect in Berlin since 1993. Together with his long-term partner, Emin Ozyilmaz, whom he met during their student days, he founded the architecture firm Lorenzen & Partner in January 2001.

Together, they have completed numerous projects covering all aspects of architecture, civil engineering and urban planning. They have planned and successfully implemented competitions, new constructions, and the renovation of old buildings.

Since its founding, Lorenzen & Partner GbR has purchased and extensively renovated (loft conversions included) several properties in various eastern districts of Berlin in order to strengthen its economic independence.
